CPR - The Priesthood of All Believers

In this special Reformation episode of Conservative Pastor Response Pastors Neal Radichel and Mark
Tiefel discuss the important Reformation topic of the Priesthood of all Believers.  There is a difference between the priesthood of the Old Testament in the nation of Israel and the priesthood of the New Testament.  This is because of the work of Christ in His perfect life and sacrificial death.  They discuss the terms "priest" and "pastor" as they are used in churches today as well as the difference between the role of the pastor and the individual believer.  Every individual Christian can and should serve as God's witness to the world.  They also point out how important this Biblical truth was in the foundation and development of the early Reformation.  We pray

CPR - God and Suffering (Skeptic Series)

In this special episode of Conservative Pastor Response Pastors Mark Tiefel and
Nathanael Mayhew discuss the topic of God and suffering from a skeptic's perspective.  They deal with the following questions: "Why is their evil in the world?" - Because of sin and the fall recorded in Genesis 3; "How can a God who is loving allow bad things to happen?" - Because God is also just and our sin brings God's judgment against our sin.  God justice was served in Christ at the cross; "Why would God even allow for the possibility of sin?" - Because God wanted us to love Him freely because of all that He has done for us; "Why doesn't God just eliminate all evil?" - Because God desires the salvation of all people, and He wants us to repent and to trust in Him for salvation.  We pray that this discussion is beneficial for you and in your witnessing to others. 

CPR - The Doctrine of Inspiration (Part 2)

In this episode of Conservative Pastor Response Pastors Neal Radichel and
Nathanael Mayhew go back to discuss the doctrine of inspiration.  In this episode they build on the internal evidence for inspiration by discussing the external evidence for the inspiration of the Bible.  They will talk about how prophecy, the unity of Scripture, answers to the big questions of life and the historical accuracy of Scripture give evidence for divine inspiration.  In addition, the Bible changes the lives of those who are brought to faith, and it has been supernaturally preserved throughout history.  While this will not convert anyone, it does give evidence to the obviously unique and supernatural charactaristics of the Bible.  Thanks be to God!

CPR - The Doctrine of Vocation (Labor Day)

In this episode of Conservative Pastor Response Pastors Mark Tiefel and
Nathanael Mayhew discuss the doctrine of vocation in the wake of another Labor Day celebration.  In this teaching
God reveals how He has given us all gifts that He wants us to use for the benefit of our neighbor and society in general as well as to the glory of God.  Work is not a curse, but rather a blessing given by God to mankind to provide satisfaction as seen in the Garden of Eden before the fall into sin.  They discuss the difference between an Occupation and a Vocation or calling from God to use our gifts, and how both young and old can evaluate what God has called them to do in this life. 

CPR - The Doctrine of Inspiration (Part 1)

In this episode of Conservative Pastor Response Pastors Neal Radichel and Nathanael Mayhew discuss the doctrine of inspiration.  In this teaching God reveals how it is possible that the words of the Bible could be His words, even though they were written by fallible human beings.  Through the Holy Spirit, God breathed into these men the very words He wanted them to write, using their knowledge, experience and language abilities to record His word to the world.  In this episode we will examine the internal evidence (from the Bible itself) for the doctrine of inspiration.
