(NKJV) How often do we look to our Baptism for hope? We should. Paul tells us that through God's working in Baptism we have put on Christ and been received in God's family.

(ESV) The believer has a hope that the unbeliever does not: That death is not something to fear. Because of Jesus, death is nothing more than a sleep from which our God will awaken us!

Day 30 - Psalm 30:5 for we spend a moment under his anger, but we enjoy a lifetime in his favor. In the evening, weeping comes to stay through the night, but in the morning, there is rejoicing!. (EHV) Here the LORD give us a comparison: The time of suffering and weeping in this life compared to the hope of joy forever in the life to come.
