Day 15 - Mark 10:27 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God" (ESV). God is all powerful and He uses His power for judgment, but also for mercy. He uses His power for our good, and in perfect love for us!

Day 14 - Psalm 86:5: "Indeed You, Lord, are good and forgiving and abounding in mercy to all who call to You." (EHV) The Lord, the one true God, is love, He is forgiving, and He abounds in mercy - it overflows to sinners. This love, mercy and forgiving nature of God is most clearly displayed at the cross of Christ!

For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock." (NASB)

(NKJV) Part of our calling as Christians is to share with others what the Lord has offered to us. The best that we have been given is found in and through His Word. When we sow His Word, it will bring about results!

Day 10 - 2 Corinthians 4:17: "For momentary, light affliction is producing for us more an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison." Sometimes it feels like we are being crushed by the trouble of this world. But the "affliction" that we face is temporary and light in comparison to what we have to look forward to in heaven because of Christ's work for us! Thanks be to God!

Day 9 - 1 Thessalonians 5:24: "He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it." This short passage at the very end of Paul's letter to the Thessalonians is packed with comfort. God is faithful to the promises He makes. We can take it to the bank. He calls us and invites us to receive the blessings of His faithfulness!

Day 8 - "Isaiah 25:1 O LORD, You are my God. I will exalt You! I will praise Your name, because You have done astounding things, plans laid long ago that are firm and faithful." The LORD is a God of power, who does what no one else is able to do. His will cannot be changed and is true. For this reason, we confess His name to the world!

Day 7 - 2 Timothy 2:19: "Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity."" The Lord knows His own, and He cares for them, whatever they may face in this life. As His own, we are called to be different from the world.

Paul shares one of the reasons God offers us the comfort of found in His Son - to share that comfort with others!
